SMTP magnetic separators are installed in pipelines for removal of tramp metals from various products, used in confectionary industry. To prevent thickening of chocolate mass and prevent flow section clogging, it is recommended to use SMTP-2 separators, equipped with warming jackets. This model is also eqipped with a handy cleaning system and a special safety net for trapping non-magnetic admixtures from the product flow.
For separation of flour, sugar and other free-flowing confectionary materials, we have designed SMK magnetic separators, which are installed in gravity flows with circular or rectangular flow sections. Their main advantage is that the product flow section is completely covered by a magnetic field, allowing removal of 95-97% of tramp metals from the separated material. SMK-2 differs from the previously-described SMK-1 model in a mechanical cleaning system, allowing faster separator cleaning. If the product flow section is filled more than to 70% it is recommended to install SM (SM-1, SM-2) separators, a simplified version of SMK model. Manual cleaning (SM-1) and mechanical cleaning (SM-2) system types are available.
